Braintree Town have signed former Ebbsfleet United striker Liam Enver-Marum and Luke Daley has also confirmed his return to the Amlin Stadium.

Enver-Marum, who is 25, found the back of the net 11 times in 47 appearances for Ebbsfleet during their Conference Premier campaign last season, including one against Braintree in a 3-1 defeat in April.

Daley has put pen to paper on a new deal with Braintree.

Having made 36 appearances and scored seven goals for the Iron last year, the midfielder had looked destined for pastures new for much of the summer, but he returned for their final pre-season fixture at Lowestoft Town last weekend.

And he has now signed up for Braintree’s forthcoming Skrill Premier campaign that starts at Hereford United on Saturday.

Braintree have also added goalkeeper Nick Hamann and full-backs Newman Carney and Sam Griffiths to their squad in the last few days after they impressed Iron boss Alan Devonshire during his team's pre-season campaign.
