A brave schoolgirl was chosen to draw the raffle in aid of Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research.
Maisie Speller, 7, drew the winning ticket at the raffle held by Wickes DIY store in Century Drive, Braintree on bank holiday Monday.
The Notley Primary School pupil was two-years-old when she was diagnosed with leukaemia.
She celebrated the end of her treatment almost three years later, in November 2010.
Store manager Trevor Jackson said they were honoured to have Maisie at the draw, after staff had spent six weeks selling tickets.
He is also planning to cycle from London to Paris in June to support the cause.
