Snow postponed Iron's game against Alfreton
Braintree Town's Blue Square Bet Premier game against Alfreton Town has been postponed.
Saturday's fixture has been called off after overnight snow left the Amlin Stadium pitch under a white blanket and with more forecast during the day, an early call was made to postpone it.
The club has said a possible date for a rearranged fixture will be on Thursday.
The postponement means Braintree's next game is now due to be Tuesday's Blue Square Bet Premier encounter with Lincoln City at the Amlin Stadium.
