Braintree Town manager Alan Devonshire said he will have to look at his players to see if any are feeling the effects of the Iron’s punishing fixture schedule ahead of tonight's Blue Square Bet Premier clash with Nuneaton Town.

Following Tuesday's 1-1 draw with Woking, it is the second of four home games in the space of eight days and Devonshire is having to manage his playing resources.

“I’ll have to have a good look at it,” he said.

“I’ll know which ones could do Thursday and Saturday, but we’ll have to wait and see.

“Nuneaton won’t be easy as they showed by beating Grimsby on Tuesday.

“The one good thing is that they are going to be in the same boat as us with playing Tuesday as well as Thursday.

“We’ll see and I’ll make the decision when we get there on Thursday.”

Devonshire said he is unlikely to add any more loan signings to his squad this season, but said Matt Paine would come back in to face Nuneaton after his suspension.
