Witham Town will be looking to ramp up the pressure on their Ryman League division one north play-off rivals this weekend.

Their 7-2 hammering of Ilford last weekend kept Town in the hunt for a top-five finish and they will be looking to make up more ground on Saturday when they host Cheshunt at Spa Road.

Manager Garry Kimble said Heybridge Swifts are his team’s main prey, but knows they have to concentrate on what they are doing rather than whether others are winning, drawing or losing.

He said: “We won the game comfortably at Ilford and it means we are still in there.

“I reckon we could sneak in there."
