BraintreeL Improv troupe headline comedy night
No one knows what to expect when the Noise Next Door comes to town.
And that’s because they are the UK’s latest improv comedy troupe, already an Edinburgh smash hit and now on their debut UK tour.
Made up of Charlie Granville, Sam Pacelli, Tom Livingstone, Matt Grant and Tom Houghton, the group first started performing in 2007 while at university in Canterbury.
Sam explains: “Matt was approached to do a festival in Canterbury, but didn’t have enough time to put together a play, so being a big fan of Whose Line Is It Anyway, he asked a group of us to do an improvisation night.
“We ended up performing in front of 500 people and it just went down a storm – so much so, they asked us to do it again the following year.”
The Noise Next Door headline Funhouse Comedy on Thursday at Braintree Arts Theatre.
Tickets are £10 for the show, which starts at 8pm. Call 01376 556354 or visit braintreeartstheatre.com
