Creators of a fantasy book series due to be turned into a telveision programme entertained youngsters with a demonstration of their work.
Author Paul Stewart and illustrator Chris Riddell met Year Five and Six pupils from four Witham primary schools.
The pair are behind The Edge Chronicles, which will be made into a show by Sky next year, with special effects by the people behind The Hobbit and Lord of The Rings.
Children from Powers Hall, Howbridge, Holy Family and Chipping Hill primary schools attended the talk at Maltings Academy in Spinks Lane.
