A road prone to flooding has been left under water again, this time for ten days.

Drivers were seen still attempting to pass through water thought to be up to 6ft deep on Henry Dixon Road in Rivenhall End.

A Highways Agency spokesman said: "The pump servicing the A12 bridge is operating properly, but is becoming blocked by silt and debris from the local roads.

"We are working closely with Essex County Council on this issue and will be working to remove the pump blockage and flooding this afternoon."
