The new flag above Ladbrokes
More St George’s flags will adorn a town centre.
Witham Town Council plans to buy new St George and Union Jack flags for the town hall in Newland Street.
Councillor Bill Rose also highlighted how ones above Ladbrokes and The George pub, both in the town centre, had looked tatty.
New ones have either gone up or will be going up after council clerk Mark Squire contacted the business owners.
