Essex: Appeal for witnesses to burglary
Burglars forced their way into a house through a kitchen door.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the break-in at a home in Elm Close, Takeley, yesterday.
The thieves broke in sometime between 12.20pm and 5.45pm.
Nothing was stolen but a messy search was made.
Anyone with information or who saw anyone acting suspiciously is asked to contact PC Liz Young at Braintree CID on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
