Essex: Day centre needs volunteers

A recent recruitment drive for Dunmow Day Centre has failed to secure a single volunteer to fill three vacancies.
The centre needs a new treasurer, bookings clerk/manager and chairman, and needs to fill the posts by the end of March when a new committee is due to take over.
The Dunmow Day Centre provides a venue for social and recreational events for the benefit of the over-55s as well as offering hot meals and refreshments at very reasonable prices.
