Witham: Youngsters to take over empty High Street units for week of action
Youngsters will be taking over empty town centre shops and constructing a new town sign as part of a week of action.
The 2nd Witham Boys’ Brigade has published a major research document outlining the needs of the town’s young people.
To compile the report, interviews were carried out with a cross-section of youngsters, teachers, police and community figures.
Interviewees suggested Witham “lacked self-confidence” and did not celebrate itself enough as a town.
