Braintree: Lottery syndicate pays dividend for Co-op staff
Shocked staff at a village shop are celebrating a massive lottery win after their syndicate scooped more than £2million.
Eight workers at the Co-op store in Brook Street, Great Bardfield, and two former employees, shared £2.05million after winning the Lotto jackpot.
Despite their success, store manager Sam Winter and colleagues Andy Watson, Alice Jervis, Susan Markowicz, Lynette Cornell, Stacey Morrish, Simon Winter and Jamie Naunton - who each won £205,000 - have all vowed not to quit work.
