Over 55s are invited to a Safer Living event in Dunmow.

The sessions at Dunmow Day Centre in Chequers Lane include presentations on subjects such as fire safety, abuse awareness, armchair exercise, bogus callers and safety in the home.

There will also be free giveaways and lunch.

Entry is free but places must be booked in advance on 01371 872874.

The event on March 14 starts at 10.30am and finishes after lunch at 1.30pm.

"Over 55s" are invited to a 'Safer Living' event?

Is anyone else see the inherent 'ageism' in thisr? It should be an education for any- and everyone and NOT targeted to people 55 years of age. What a prejudiced, pandering, patronising load of ol' codswallop.
