The Corner House
An empty office will be let out to entrepreneurs to set up temporary ‘pop up’ shops.
The Corner House in Market Place, Braintree, will be let out to new tenants every 12 weeks and renamed The Egg.
They will pay £75 a week, including utilities and rent and advice from Braintree Council’s Town Team and Ignite Business advisory service.
It is part of Braintree’s Portas Pilot project and will cost £15,000 to run for a year, including refurbishing the premises - previously occupied by Ignite’s predecessor, Braintree Development Services - training, management and marketing.
