A rising star of TV and radio is the main attraction at the next Funhouse Comedy night.

Nathan Caton has come to national prominence thanks to appearances on shows including Mock the Week and Russell Howard’s Good News.

Although born and raised in London, Nathan knows Essex well, having completed an architecture degree at Anglia Ruskin University in Chelmsford.

After his studies, Nathan risked the wrath of his family by instead pursuing a full-time comedy career, but it appears to have been a decision that has paid off.

Support at Braintree Arts Theatre comes from Chris McCausland, the only blind professional comedian on the circuit.

Chris’ exclusive take on life is good-natured and extremely genial, guaranteed to keep audiences amused.

The line-up is completed by the animated Sean McLoughlin, with Danny Ward compering the night.

Funhouse Comedy takes place at Braintree Arts Theatre, in Notley Road, Braintree, tonight.

Doors open at 7.15pm for an 8pm start. Tickets are £10 in advance or £12 on the door, or take advantage of a three for two offer on all Funhouse Comedy tickets.
