Braintree: Burglars steal birthday present during break-in
Burglars stole thousands of pounds of personal possessions after forcing entry into a house.
Suspects smashed the rear patio door of an address in Kingsbridge Close, Braintree, causing £500 of damage.
They carried out an untidy search and stole a laptop, jewellery and a Seko watch, which had sentimental value as it was a 21st birthday present.
The total value of the items stolen was £1,875. The break-in took place between 7.30am and 7pm on Thursday.
