A health centre has a week to tell inspectors how it intends to raise standards after it was criticised in a report.
Witham Health Centre, in Mayland Road, Witham, was inspected by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) in November.
A report by the CQC, published on Thursday, identified three areas where action was needed.
Inspectors said the centre had failed to report allegations of abuse and incidents where events had stopped service.
