A young mother was found dead in her flat by police.

Officers were called to Falkland Court on the Fairview Estate in Braintree at about 8.50am last Saturday after concerns were raised about the welfare of a woman in her twenties.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

An Essex Police spokesman said the death was being treated as non-suspicious and that a post mortem was due to take place on Wednesday.

A shocked neighbour, who asked not to be named, said: “We said hello to each other but that was about it.

“She was a nice person to talk to.”

He said the woman left two young children.

i dont get it in tdays society that a young person is just found that way... as ive said on fbook i beleive that the way the country is at the mo there will be a lot of suicides and more people with mental health probs...i no ive got off the subject a bit ,but it just makes you realise just how fragile the population really is..............

Well, not much is known about the circumstances but it is said to be non-suspicious so probably nothing to do with a "fragile population" whatever that's suposed to mean. Probably natural causes - it does happen. I love the way the neighbour said he only ever said hello to her but she was a nice person to talk to!! Figure?
