Witham: Schoolchildren vulnerable to anonymous online bullies

Children are vulnerable to anonymous abuse through a social networking site, a school principal has warned.
Maltings Academy, in Spinks Lane, Witham, has reported a number of recent incidents involving its pupils.
Social networking site Ask.fm came under fire last year when schoolchildren in Ireland allegedly committed suicide as a result of online bullying.
While sites such as Facebook and Twitter require users to provide their real names, Ask.fm allows registered users to post messages to other members anonymously.
