Art really does run in the family for a mother and daughter with strong links to world renowned painter JMW Turner.

Vicky Barron, 29, and mum Sally Barron, 47, could not resist the temptation to name their newly-opened art shop after Turner and one of his former flames when they unearthed a fascinating link to the pair.

Vicky, who lives with her parents in Hunnable Road, Braintree, claims to be the five-time great niece of Turner’s once mistress Sarah Danby.
