A business owner believes she was the victim of fraud after cloned credit cards were used to purchase two unique dolls’ houses.

An anonymous caller bought dolls houses and accessories, valued at £2,500, from Bijou Dolls House shop, at Blake House Craft Centre, Blake End, Rayne.

The business is unable to claim the money back on insurance because it failed to complete the card transaction properly.

Owner Linda Abel is warning other small businesses to be more careful when dealing with credit card payments.

Sadly this has been happening for a long time, we no longer take credit cards over the phone having been caught twice by these scum-bags, when your items are delivered make sure that you actually knock at the door where delivery is supposed to be as they wait just outside and take the goods from the drivers the address is real but the persons do not live there and don't even bother phoning the police

This is a real shame. As owners of two retail shops we understand how terrible it must feel to have lost these houses in this way.

Please keep an eye on our dolls house exchange website www.dollshouseexchan
ge.co.uk and watch eBay - If they are trying to sell them someone will spot them hopefully!
