Witham: Police helicopter search before missing girl found at neighbour's house
The police helicopter was launched to help search for a ten-year-old girl who was later found at a neighbour’s house.
Police were called at 8.25pm yesterday following reports the girl had gone missing in Witham, near Powers Hall End.
A spokesman said: “A number of units, including the helicopter, were involved in the search.
“The girl was found safe and well at a neighbour’s home at about 9.30pm.”
