Join Essex Police Museum for a lecture on the history of police headquarters on Wednesday.
Speaker Malcolm Taylor’s interesting talk entitled ‘Lunatic Asylum to Edwardian Gem’ looks at how policing started in Essex and includes a virtual tour of the beautiful listed building at headquarters which was once a family home to the Chief Constable and his staff.
Doors open at 2pm and the talk will begin at 2.15pm. Visitors will have a chance to view the museum displays before closing at 3.30pm. Tickets cost £3 and include light refreshments.
