Witham: Linda's starring role in Les Miserables

A grandmother has won international fame - with a role in Les Miserables.
Film extra Linda Payne features in key scenes alongside stars Hugh Jackman and Anne Hathaway.
The 59-year-old of Armond Road, Witham, played a quality controller in the factory where Hathaway’s character, Fantine, is a worker.
Linda said: “It was fun, yes I would do it again but no I wouldn’t do it for a living.
“I woudn’t like my mortgage to depend on it.”
