Cars attempt to get through the flood
Flooding on a main road in and out of a village caused problems for drivers.
Water reached the wheel arches of a number of vehicles that attempted to pass the section of Henry Dixon Road, Rivenhall, which runs underneath the A12.
Rivenhall Parish Council clerk Keith Taylor said it does not flood regularly, but blocked drains and a failed pump are thought to have been the cause.
