Braintree: Model mum gets Gok Wan makeover

A single mum who had not had a proper date for 16 years has had her confidence renewed with a little help from style guru Gok Wan.

Naseem Khan, a former model and British national aerobic team champion, had poured her energy into raising her son Casey, now 19, after splitting from her partner.

The former aerobics teacher, of Elder Field, Great Notley, also had to cope with injury after a car crash in 2007 left her on crutches for five months.

It was Casey who found an advert for Gok’s Style Secrets and encouraged his mum to apply.

The show airs tonight on Channel Four at 8pm.
