Patients are being asked for their views on local NHS services
Patients are being asked for their views on local NHS services.
From April, the Mid Essex Clinical Commissioning Group will plan and buy healthcare for people in the Braintree district, taking over the role of the NHS Mid Essex Primary Care Trust.
Chairman Lisa Harrod-Rothwell said: “The clinical commissioning group is led by GPs and other clinicians who bring not only clinical knowledge but local knowledge too.
“We work closely with other health providers, the voluntary sector and members of the public to encourage health services which are integrated and effective.”
“The immediate need is to achieve balance by the end of this financial year; however, the coming year offers huge potential to make ground-breaking improvements in health and social care for local people.
“I would urge people to look at the consultation document and let us have their views.”
