Braintree: Wanted man arrested in Braintree town centre
Police swooped on Braintree town centre after reports a wanted man had been seen.
An Essex Police spokesman said: "Police attended Market Place, Braintree, on Friday [just after 2pm] following reports a 28-year-old man was there who was wanted on recall to prison.
"Officers attended and subsequently arrested a man before taking him into custody."
