Braintree: Man takes a cheeky ride around town

Tayla Hughes Tayla Hughes

A cyclist braved the chilly weather wearing just a thong.

Tayla Hughes, 21, went for a 40-minute jaunt around Braintree, to the amusement and surprise of passers-by.

Tayla, who until recently was a carer for young people with learning disabilities, said: "I was bored, that's literally the reason I did it."

Do we need to know this idiot has done this. When I raised money for Breast Cancer last July I wrote out a piece and sent it to B & W and guess what ..... they didn't print it!!!!
Pathetic.

Dear Yellow peril people like you really should be seen and not heard..The way the name Tayla is spelt is very trendy and has become really popular obviously popularity is something you crave.

i raised money for the Tsunami however i wasn't doing it for a publicity stunt, i did it because of all the poor people suffering. Perhaps you should think about this when your raising for charity... not looking for the limelight. There the people who are important not you.

Huggs, now who are you having a go at? If you're not looking for limelight then why raise it at all - no-one was asking. How you think my comment was craving popularity I will never know. You must be incredibly thick.

He was obviously having a go at me Yellow Peril but all I can say is that I was not looking for limelight ... merely stating what a load of crap the B & W find give us as stories. If this man wanted to ride his bike around, why was he looking for limelight. Get a grip Hugs66.

Good job you are easily pleased then. Will remember that next time you post a pointless comment!

You, sir, are a miserable old ****. There are many (maybe the majority) stories in this rag that are misreported, understated and never fully investigated. Stories that are or should be of importance. This is not one but simply a fun tid bit.

Get over your sense of self importance and learn to rail against the right things. And don't fly off at me with you miserable attitude.

For someone who thinks so little of this website and the associated paper Yellow Peril seems to go to a lot of trouble to comment on nearly every post. If it is such a pointless rag then why not just leave it and stick with BBC Essex?

@withamwanker Probably for similar reasons as myself: we enjoy intelligent banter but find it hard to not disdain the self-righteous and ill- informed when they make crass generalities and simply take the low road with base ad hominems.

Why? Do you hold the Brainless and Witless I high esteem? Perhaps you could elucidate us with the reasons why?

Thank you.
