Braintree: Have you lost a fishing rod?
Police are asking Braintree residents to check their sheds, outbuildings and garages after several fishing rods, which were believed to have stolen, were found.
Witham CID officers have the several fishing rods which they believe the victim may be unaware are missing due to the current inclement weather.
Ds Nick Eliot said: "I would like people to check their sheds and garages to see if they are missing any fishing equipment.
"Fishing rods can be expensive and its possible someone might find that when they open their shed theirs may be missing. Hopefully we can help.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact the officers at Witham on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
