Witham: Calls for investment in health services
Frustrated residents have joined Witham’s MP in appealing for better healthcare options in the town.
Priti Patel appealed to health secretary Jeremy Hunt last week to encourage greater investment in the Witham area.
There are about 2,200 patients per GP in Witham, which is 41 per cent higher than the national average of 1,562, and 34 per cent higher than the regional average of 1,642.
