A brave mum is sporting a new look after shaving her hair off to raise money for her ill daughter.
More than £2,400 has already been donated to fulfil a bucket list for six-year-old Ella Barden, who was diagnosed with a fatal premature ageing disorder, Cockayne Syndrome, last month.
Mum Jodie Barden promised to shave her head if wellwishers donated £1,500 and she kept her promise with a short back and sides at Jimmy's Cut and Shave in Newland Street, Witham, on Saturday.
Jodie, whose unborn daughter also has Cockayne Syndrome, said: "It was gone really quick. It was a bit of a shock, I am still trying to get used to it."
