Witham Town's hopes of getting any Ryman League division one north action this weekend have been ended by the ice and snow.
Town had been due to travel to Chatham Town as they looked to extend a run of league form that has seen them lose just twice in their last 11 division one north games, but the fixture was postponed on Friday following a pitch inspection.
The winter chill has caused major disruption to the league's fixture list and the call-off means Witham's next scheduled game is now their rearranged home fixture against Aveley on Tuesday.
That game was itself a victim of the big chill this week as it was postponed last Tuesday due to a frozen Spa Road pitch.
