Two sons have been left with unanswered questions after a three-year wait to find out how their mother died.
Joan Chambers, 63, was found dead in her home in Medley Road, Rayne, in 2009, just nine days after she was discharged from hospital with a fractured skull.
Last week an inquest heard Mrs Chambers suffered a second fall in the days before her death, and had fatal levels of alcohol in her body.
In the months following her death, Mrs Chambers’ sons Stephen and Nick had received interim death certificates giving conflicting causes of her death.
