A school will double in size over the next seven years after expansion plans were confirmed.

Elm Hall Primary School, in Conrad Road, Witham, have an intake of 30 pupils in its reception class each year starting in September.

It will mean the school, which currently has 105 pupils, will double in capacity to 210 pupils by 2019.

The decision was confirmed by Essex County Council’s cabinet member for education, Stephen Castle, last month.

A £1million redevelopment of the school will see a new block, playground and extra parking spaces built.

This is great news for those in the north of Witham. A fabulous school which will give an extra 15 kids this year a great education :-)
