Tenants have accused a housing association of putting vulnerable residents at risk by refusing to put up garden fencing.

Cynthia Woodhouse, 73, of Lime Close, Witham, campaigned for improvements after a series of attempted burglaries in November.

But she believes Greenfields Community Housing has decided not to install fencing because it is too expensive.

As a tenant representative, Mrs Woodhouse decided to ask Greenfields for better fencing after three attempted burglaries during November.
