Braintree district: Love Your High Street awards

Votes are already pouring in for this year’s Love Your High Street awards.

More than 1,100 votes have already been received as shoppers and customers nominate their favourite businesses in the district.

The award categories are Service Provider of the Year, Hospitality of the Year, Retailer of the Year, Village business of the Year.

This year a new Customer Excellence Award has been launched, with 34 employees already nominated.

The awards, now in their third year, are part of the Braintree Council Backing Our Towns campaign.

Voting closes on February 28 and businesses can still enter by contacting the council.

Customers can vote at braintreecouncil.gov.uk/lyhs, use the nomination forms printed in The Times or available at participating businesses or by scanning the QR code on posters.

All voters can enter the prize draw for a chance to win £250 of shopping vouchers, subject to terms and conditions.
