Braintree and Witham Times: Essex: Could you become a library volunteer? Essex: Could you become a library volunteer?

Volunteers are wanted to help develop library services.

Essex Libraries need people for the Home Library Service to visit people who would otherwise not be able to use the library.

Youngsters aged 12-16 are being recruited to give their opinions on the library services provided for young people, answering one question per month via email, while those aged 14 or above can help run the Summer Reading Challenge.

Others are needed for IT support or helping with baby and toddler rhyme times.
Application forms for all of the opportunities are available from local library branches or for more information visit essex.gov.uk/libraries.
