Police are appealing for information after seven cars had their wing mirrors kicked off by vandals.

The damage took place overnight between Sunday night and this morning in Powers Hall End, Witham.

Inspector Paul Davey said: “It is likely to have been someone in a drunken state who won’t ever do it again.

“They will have bragged to someone - they wouldn’t have done it if they were on their own.”

Anyone with information is asked to call Braintree police station on 101.
