Witham: Free thermometers at Age UK
Free thermometers are being handed out as part of Age UK’s Spread the Warmth campaign.
Shoppers can collect two thermometers, to be put in the bedroom and living room, from Age UK shops.
The bedroom should be a minimum of 18C and the living areas 21C.
The charity is warning that up to 25,000 could die needlessly of the cold this winter.
