A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempting a violent break-in to a property.

Police were called shortly before 10am today following reports a man was attempting to break into a home in Plains Field, Braintree.

An Essex Police spokesman said: “Officers arrived at the scene and spoke to the victim before travelling a short distance where they found the suspect.”

The search for the suspect took place with help from the police helicopter.

A 30-year-old man from the Colchester area has been arrested on suspicion of committing violence to secure entry.

He is being questioned by detectives at Braintree police station.

Getting a hoorible feeling the POLICE are what the B/W Times are allowed to report on concerning crime.Feed the public all suspicious circumstantial and see if any one comes foreward..Actual caught criminals after the incident are a very small percentage.Sounds like commit a crime is less catchable than susspision.or acting susspiciously.
