Youngsters were guided by West End performing stars as they prepared to perform in front of a sell-out crowd.
Children aged four to 18 attended a four-day workshop as they learned songs, dance moves and scenes from famous musicals.
They then put their skills to the test as they performed in front of 150 people on Sunday at Coggeshall Village Hall.
The workshop was organised by the Wish Upon A Star Theatre Company, founded by Coggeshall resident and West End performer Amy Jessop.
She said: “We had 23 kids taking part and they have done songs from Money Money Money, Mamma Mia, Wicked and the Sound of Music."
