Braintree district: Appeal for volunteer Waste Busters
Residents with a passion for helping the environment are being invited to volunteer as waste busters.
The Waste Busters scheme, organised by Essex County Council (ECC) and Keep Britain Tidy, encourages people to take a lead in helping their communities reduce waste.
This could include hosting workshops, attending events or talking to community groups.
Anyone interested can sign up now for a place at a training event at Braintree Library on February 16, from 9.30am to 5pm.
