Police were called to reports of a group of people protesting against Baumann's Brasserie serving foie gras. 

About 12 people gathered outside the Stoneham Street restaurant in Coggeshall yesterday evening. 

Officers received the first call that people were shouting and disturbing customers at just after 7.45pm and said that the group had left by 8.15pm.

There were no arrests.
