Witham: Trio of musical talents live at the Institute
3:30pm Thursday 13th December 2012 in News
A trio of talented and diverse musical acts will be gracing the stage as Live at the Institute celebrates a festive gathering.
Dynamic Manchester-based five piece Samson and Delilah will be headlining the evening, mixing traditional songs with their own powerful and vitrolic compositions.
The part-Australian, part-British group originally consisted of husband and wife duo Sam Lench and Anna Zweck, who are the band’s chief songwriters.
They will be joined by multi-instrumentalist Raevennan Husbandes, who is on the remarkable road to recovery after a spell of serious illness.
A prominent performer at concerts and festivals, she was struck down with the rare VKH syndrome in 2010, which left her unable to see or hear, and paralysed from the waist down.
Happily, despite a relapse, she is now on the road to recovery, with new musical material and working towards her first album.
The line-up is completed by opening act Cara Winter, who is in the process of recording her first album, having written and recorded her debut release at the age of only 18.
The show takes place at the Institute, 76 High Street, Kelvedon, tomorrow evening.
Doors open at 8pm. Tickets are £9 in advance or £10 on the door.
