Police are investigating the circumstances of a two-vehicle crash on the A120 this morning.

The collision happened at about 6.30am this morning on the eastbound carriageway between Dunmow and Rayne.

The two cars which struck each other were a blue Toyota Yaris and a blue Mini Cooper.

The inside lane of the carriageway was blocked for more than an hour following the crash.

Nobody was injured in the incident.

The Yellow Peril says...

So why use a "Road Closed" photo to illustrate an article where the road wasn't in fact closed. This is my biggest bugbear with the B&W (in case you hadn't noticed)
