Getting into the Dickensian spirit
Witham's first Dickensian market was hailed a roaring success.
Charities and traders filled 22 stalls in Newlands Shopping Centre and The Grove Shopping Centre on Saturday.
Sandra Howell, chairman of Witham Christmas Lights Working Group, said stallholders and shopkeepers were both pleased with the turnout of customers.
