Priti Patel and her fellow judges with Alia's design
A schoolgirl has won a competition to design her MP’s Christmas card.
Witham politician Priti Patel and her judging panel, Witham mayor Michael Lager, Colchester mayor Christopher Arnold and Maldon mayor David Williams, chose Alia Hughman, a pupil at St Andrew’s SchoolJunior School in Hatfield Peverel.
Ms Patel will present her with a prize and copy of her completed card at the end of term and has invitedAlia and her family to tea at the Palace of Westminster.
