A young dad with a severely disabled daughter hopes to teach parents and teachers about first aid through his new business venture.
Steven Hardy, 20, is the first person in Essex, Sussex, Surrey, Hampshire, Kent and the Isle of Wight to receive a government StartUp loan and mentoring through delivery partner, Let's Do Business Group.
The scheme, backed by entrepreneur James Caan, gives 18 to 24-year-olds loans of up to £2,500 to start new companies.
Steven, of Warley Close, Braintree, will focus on training young people, parents, youth and community groups and businesses.
